The 105-room hotel will open in early June, offering panoramic views of Margaret Island and a stylish rooftop bar on the 9th floor.
"We are honoured that Accent Hotel Management has been chosen to operate the first Four Points by Sheraton hotel in the capital. We are proud to announce, that with Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube, the number of hotels operated by Accent Hotel Management in Hungary and Austria has increased to 27. We have entrusted Mr. Dávid Heged?s with the management of the hotel being an experienced professional with excellent knowledge of the Hungarian capital city's market and international background, who has been a key member of our hotel chain for a long time", said Péter Kerek, Deputy Managing Director of Accent Hotel Management.
"We are delighted to welcome Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube to our mixed concept Duna Pearl. Known as the Pearl of the Danube, Duna Pearl is in Ujlipotvros, one of the valuable locations of the 13th district. The project is right across Margaret Island; it is within walking distance of Váci Út, where the city center, metro and important business centers are located. Located opposite Margaret Island, adjacent to the largest park of the region, Szent István, Duna Pearl comes to life on the banks of the Danube with its specially designed residences and green roof gardens. With its favorable location, hotel and commercial areas, Duna Pearl is seen as the city's new center of attraction. Thanks to spacious apartments with large interior volumes, specially designed terraces and balconies that allow maximum use of the Danube River view, the lush courtyard, and social areas at the center of the project, Duna Pearl promises its investors a life above Budapest standard,’" added Kaan YUcel, CEO of Polat Holding.
Thanks to the unique orientation, nearly three quarters of the 105 rooms offer a beautiful view of the Danube, the popular downtown oasis of Margaret Island and the Buda Hills, while two junior suites have been constructed on the upper floors. Due to its location, guests can enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment, within walking distance of the vibrant city centre. The hotel's digital solutions further enhance guest comfort, while modern technology creates a strong cohesion with the design featuring original period posters and furnishings that evoke the atmosphere of the 60s and 70s in both the rooms and the public areas. The hotel's facilities and room amenities are perfect for business travellers looking for accommodation in the neighbourhood, while the 50-seat meeting room can fully cater medium-sized events. An equipped gym is available for guests looking to work out. The rooftop bar on the 9th floor, accommodating up to 40 people, will welcome hotel guests and the public of Budapest alike.
