Woking’s Victoria Place grows its retail offer (GB)

Woking’s Victoria Place is set to welcome Lark London, an independent lifestyle boutique, in a move that marks the brand’s first store outside the capital. The multi award-winning retailer will open at 7 Commercial Way in a 1,558ft² space, showcasing its eclectic selection of lifestyle and homeware products from over 300 brands.

Lark London, one of the first ‘Lifestyle Boutiques’ in London and run by Dominic and Priya Aurora-Crowe, takes a family-oriented and personal approach, rejecting the often-exclusive buying format of boutique retail concepts. The brand spotlights ethical and accessible consumption, sourcing products from responsible suppliers, local businesses, and offers design-led, on-trend gifts at a lower price point than competitors.

Lark London’s Victoria Place home promises to be a one-stop shop for gifts, and will stock a comprehensive collection of homeware, fashion, and jewellery. An extensive range of children’s toys will also be on offer, as well as soaps, candles and stationery. The selection will be refreshed regularly, providing a diverse shopping experience.

Dominic and Priya Aurora-Crowe, owners of Lark London, commented: “Following the success of our London locations, we wanted our next store’s home to be in the heart of a town centre full of buzz and with a strong sense of community, which is exactly what we’ve found in Victoria Place. We are so excited to introduce our playful and unique selection of gifts and homeware to a brand-new audience and see what the next chapter brings for Lark London!”

Councillor Ann-Marie Barker, Leader of Woking Borough Council, added: “We are hugely proud that Woking has been selected to be the first home outside of the capital for Lark London. It’s family-oriented and personable format of lifestyle boutique and consistent support of local businesses is one that aligns well with Victoria Place’s own ethos. We feel sure that it will sit comfortably amongst the other community-focused operators at Victoria Place, such as GAIL’s, The Gym Group and Woking Superbowl.”
