WING and Accent Hotel Management form strategic partnership to operate hotels in Hungary

WING and Accent Hotel Management have signed a strategic agreement to jointly operate hotel projects across Hungary, combining real estate development expertise with professional hospitality operations. The partnership marks a significant consolidation in the Hungarian hotel market, positioning both companies to capture growing demand from international investors seeking turnkey hotel solutions in Central Europe.

The collaboration unites WING's 25-year track record in real estate development with Accent's operational capabilities across 29 hotels and over 2,000 rooms in Hungary and Austria. WING has delivered more than 1,000 hotel rooms in Hungary, including the recently opened TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel and ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, as well as the TRIBE Budapest Stadium near Népliget, which holds Hungary's first BREEAM In-use "Outstanding" sustainability rating. This development pipeline demonstrates WING's ability to secure prime locations and navigate complex hospitality projects, a critical factor as Hungary's hotel market faces a shortage of experienced local operators capable of managing branded properties.

"Thanks to WING's experience as a developer and owner, we can offer integrated, transparent, and value-enhancing solutions that are still lacking in the domestic independent hotel operator market. We have gained considerable professional experience in operating our own hotel portfolio, and these hotels serve as excellent references. As a result, we are open to providing reliable and professional operational and project management services to third parties as well," said Erno Takacs, Deputy CEO of Hotels & Commercial Properties at WING.

As an independent "white label" operator, Accent Hotel Management brings established franchise relationships with major international chains including Marriott, Best Western, and Accor. This positions the joint venture to offer developers a streamlined path to securing internationally recognised brands, reducing development risk and accelerating time to market. For institutional investors increasingly focused on asset-light strategies, the partnership provides a credible third-party management platform that can deliver consistent returns whilst maintaining brand standards.

"Our cooperation with one of the largest real estate developers in the Central European region is a major confirmation of the values that have defined Accent since the beginning. We are proud to have built a complex operational system and infrastructure with experienced and qualified professionals, enabling us to successfully manage a variety of hotels, whether it's a city business hotel under an international brand, a countryside wellness resort, or accommodation in an Austrian ski resort. In our joint venture, we aim to combine this knowledge and expertise with WING's real estate development and management experience to operate hotel investments as efficiently and successfully as possible," emphasised Imre Csordas, Managing Director at Accent Hotel Management.

The companies have already demonstrated their ability to collaborate successfully through the Best Western Plus Lakeside Hotel in Székesfehérvár, which opened in 2015 with WING as developer and owner and Accent managing operations under a ten-year agreement. The first joint operation under the new strategic partnership commenced in August 2025 at the same property, with additional hotels planned to follow. The partnership will offer bespoke solutions for developers, working alongside major hotel companies and investors to provide professional hotel management and leasing services.
