Luxury automotive specialist Brabus Automotive GmbH has leased 9,158 m² at Verdion's €100m PremierPark Berlin development, marking the second major letting at the premium logistics hub in Ludwigsfelde.
The high-end automotive business has taken unit DC5, comprising 7,861 m² of warehousing, an 862 m² mezzanine and 435 m² of offices and welfare facilities at the eastern edge of the park. This follows a global manufacturer of branded goods securing unit DC2 - a 12,134 m² space - from February 2025.
Located on a 150,000 m² former brownfield site, Verdion PremierPark Berlin offers market-leading commercial and light production space within 35 minutes of central Berlin and immediate access to the city's A10 ring road. Additional units from 6,446 m² upwards remain available for lease.
All facilities feature advanced sustainability credentials, designed to DGNB Platinum and KfW40 standards and powered by clean energy. The development represents the largest asset in Verdion European Logistics Fund 1, which has invested over €300m across Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and Czechia since 2020.
Dominik Schäffer, Group Head of Asset Management at Verdion, commented: "This warehousing is particularly attractive to large corporates looking for high-quality space with advanced ESG features as well as access to the city's road network and population. These lettings reflect the continuing flight to quality and appetite for flexible space designed to support operational efficiency, and we are in advanced talks with additional parties looking to expand here."
With Berlin's logistics vacancy rate hitting record lows of under 1.5% and prime rents continuing to climb, investors are increasingly eyeing the capital's logistics submarkets for stable long-term returns amidst rising e-commerce demands and supply chain reconfiguration.
