Following the official result of the takeover bid by the Consortium led by The Merwede Group and Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners for the Dutch company Uni-Invest N.V. (Next 150), Uni-Invest will be removed from the Next 150 index effective Monday 21 October 2002. Following the rules of the Next 150 the removed company will not be replaced immediately, but at the next quarterly review (2 January 2003). As of Monday 21 October 2002, the Next 150 index will consist of 149 companies.
