On Thursday Senator Frank Horch, Hamburg’s Minister of the Economy, Transport and Innovation, Falko Drossmann, Head of Hamburg-Mitte District Council, Dr. Henry Puhl, CEO of Still, Alexander Otto, CEO of Ece, and Dr. Andreas Mattner, Managing Director of Ece, jointly laid the foundation stone for Still GmbH's new logistics center in Hamburg. The two building complexes totaling an area of 27,000m² will be built in the immediate vicinity to Still’s head office on a site on Billbrookdeich. Their completion has been scheduled for spring next year. The project will be developed, planned, and implemented by the Hamburg specialist for commercial properties, Ece. The investment for the project amounts to approximately €30m. Still has signed a long-term lease for the logistics center, which Ece will place on the investment market.
“The new Still logistics center, for which we will lay the foundation stone today, will be a new milestone for our location in Hamburg. It will help us prepare for the future as it will provide the necessary capacities for our envisaged growth in the years to come,” emphasized Dr. Henry Puhl, CEO of Still.
“Still is an enormously important player for Hamburg. Ece is pleased that it has been able to contribute to securing the location through this customized logistics center”, said Alexander Otto, CEO of Ece.
