Stabilization of real estate portfolio Dutch pension funds

In 2003, the investments of Dutch pension funds have risen with € 55 billion to € 485 billion. The investments in property stabilized in the last quarter of 2003 with a total amount of € 21 billion. The shareholding increased with almost € 43 billion.

This can be concluded from figures of the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Statistics Netherlands). In the last quarter of 2002, the pension funds had invested about € 21 billion in real estate as well, while in the last quarter of 2001 the pension funds had jointly invested almost € 25 billion in real estate.
