Aspire Group has acquired the former Hotel Kaiserhof Wuppertal, unveiling plans to rebrand it as Spark by Hilton Wuppertal City Centre. The move, effective 2 June 2025, follows the successful rollout of Germany’s first Spark by Hilton in Stuttgart Sindelfingen earlier this year and reflects the company’s ambitious expansion in the premium economy hotel sector.
The 172-room property, situated at Döppersberg 50 in central Wuppertal, offers over 11,000 m² of space and benefits from direct proximity to Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof and excellent regional transport links. The asset’s transformation into a Spark by Hilton—a brand by Hilton designed to deliver affordable quality—positions the hotel as a high-demand choice for cost-conscious business and leisure travellers. Düsseldorf Airport is just 35 km away, and Wuppertal’s iconic Suspension Railway is minutes from the property.
