SPAR Croatia invests €19.9m in state-of-the-art hypermarket

SPAR Croatia has opened a new 3,000m² INTERSPAR Hypermarket in the town of Velika Gorica, south of Zagreb. The store was built with a special focus on eco-friendliness, integrating responsible and energy-saving technologies. The hypermarket offers employment to 95 new team members.

 

The store was constructed according to SPAR Austria Group’s format of the future concept and stands out through its architectural features and state-of-the-art technologies, including underfloor heating, the use of residual heat, as well as energy-saving cooling and lighting technologies. 

 

New  INTERSPAR offers an extensive fresh food department with an emphasis on fresh meat, fruits and vegetables, fish, bakery products and an exceptional offer of non-food products, contributing to the premium shopping experience. In support of local producers, the hypermarket also features an extensive range of local and regional products. Customers can take a break in the instore Tutto Bene café and restaurant, enjoying the rich offer of ready meals.
