Skanska has sold a retirement living portfolio in Alvangen, Sweden, to Rikshem for c. €30.6m (SEK310m). The project is developed by Skanska Sweden. The transfer is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018.
The asset comprises two separate buildings: a four-storey retirement home with 50 apartments and a rental housing unit consisting of 28 apartments designed for elderly residents. The buildings are leased to Ale municipality. The retirement home is certified according to LEED Gold and expected to be awarded Miljobyggnad Silver.
