The shareholders of NV Airport Maastricht have yesterday morning, following the proposal, agreed with the sale of 70% of the shares of the NV Holding Businesspark Luchthaven Maastricht to OmDV. This is a syndicate of Omniport Holdings Ltd and Dura Vermeer.
This gives Maastricht Aachen Airport a new future. This has also been made possible by intensive cooperation of the big shareholders, the Province of Limburg and the Dutch State, who have shaped the conditions for this privatization by amongst others their investment contributions.
In the coming five months, the syndicate will negotiate with the interested regional shareholders regarding their possible participation in the remaining shares of the NV Holding Businesspark Airport Maastricht.
