Rodamco Europe announces Mrs Karin Laglas (45) will become Managing Director of Rodamco Europe in the Netherlands as per July 1, 2004. In her role as Managing Director of Rodamco Europe in the Netherlands, Karin Laglas will assume responsibility for Rodamco Europe’s operations in the Netherlands, with 72 employees and an investment portfolio of € 2.7 billion.
The main focus of Rodamco Europe in the Netherlands is to continue to grow its retail portfolio including through redevelopments of existing retail properties.
Prior to joining Rodamco Europe, Karin Laglas held a long career with international property developer MAB. Joining this company as a project manager in 1990 she moved to Paris in 1996 to become 'Directeur du développement' for the French operation. Returning to Holland she became managing director of MAB’s Dutch operation before being appointed to COO of MAB Group in 2002.
