Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP, on behalf of its Hanover Property Unit Trust has announced that it has pre-let its Chrome 102 distribution development at Minworth, Birmingham to DHL on a 15 year lease, with a 10 year break clause.
Hanover acquired the 5.5 acre development site in Minworth, which lies at the heart of the UK’s logistics Golden Triangle, in December 2014 and are funding the development of Chrome 102, a 102,750ft² (9,545m²) distribution warehouse, with specialist logistics and industrial developer, Bericote Properties Limited. Due to be completed imminently, Chrome 102, which DHL has taken in its entirety, is situated on the north eastern edge of Birmingham and is strategically located within five miles of 11 motorway junctions, including the M6 and M42, while Birmingham International Airport and the NEC are also in close proximity. The site adjoins ProLogis’ Park Midpoint Industrial and Distribution Park. JLL and Lambert Smith Hampton were the letting agents for Chrome 102.
