REDEVCO acquires a further 10,000 sqm at Tulipan Park Logistics Centre, Prague

REDEVCO Central Europe has completed the purchase of a second 10,000 sqm warehouse building at Tulipan Park Logistics Centre, near Prague. The building is currently nearing completion and has been pre-leased to 2 companies, Mearsk Logistics CR and Domo Service, on long-term leases. The purchase follows REDEVCO’s acquisition of a similar 10,000 sqm building in August last year at the same location, both transactions advised by Jones Lang LaSalle Prague.

Tulipan Park Logistics Centre is situated on the western edge of Prague at Hostivice, and will ultimately comprise 80,000 sqm of high quality warehousing on a 25-hectare site. The park benefits from unique multi-modal transport connections; in addition to its close proximity to Prague’s Ruzyne international airport and to the city ring road, the park is bounded by the main Prague-Kladno railway line, and purpose built rail sidings can be constructed for occupants. To date a total of three 10,000-sqm buildings has been constructed and sold, including the 2 buildings sold to REDEVCO Central Europe.

Tulipan Park Logistics Centre is the first Czech development by Grontmij Real Estate (GRE), the real estate development division of Grontmij NV, a large consulting, engineering and real estate group with its headquarters in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Grontmij NV employs some 4,000 staff and is listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. GRE develops and provides integral solutions for housing, commercial property, industrial sites, logistics distribution centers and parking facilities, and has offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Spain and Italy. As well as Tulipan Park Logistics Centre, GRE’s current development portfolio includes major projects in Milan (Avioport Logistics Park); Lodz, Poland (Strykow Logistics Park); Budapest (Rosalia Logistics Park & Ferihegy Airport) and Madrid (Torrejon), among others.
