Realogis Real Estate has acquired a logistics property complex in Hochheim in the Rhine-Main area for an undisclosed sum.
The property was purchased for the Realogis Real Logistics Fund portfolio, having previously belonged to a portfolio of a fund managed by institutional investors. The sale was made by TH Real Estate within the scheduled disinvestment phase of the fund.
The property is located on the eastern outskirts of Hochheim (Rüdesheimer road) with easy access to the motorway network (A3, A60, A66) as well as Frankfurt Airport. The existing rental area consists of a 19,250m2 complex of buildings that were completed in 1971 to 2001.
The site is partially leased to a public entity and a company in the fashion industry. "The property fits due to its excellent location near the Frankfurt airport and the different building configuration exactly to our fund strategy," said Bodo Hollung MRICS, managing director of REALOGIS Real Estate. DTZ has advised on the part of the seller.
