Re&Solution Property Management takes over management of the Akropolis shopping and entertainment center in Kaunas (LT)

In autumn 2008, German company Deka Immobilien Gmbh, representing an immovable property fund WestInvest InterSelect, finished the process of the acquisition of the Akropolis shopping and entertainment center in Kaunas. Re&Solution Property Management succeeded in the takeover bid for the management of the shopping center, organised by its new owners.

Akropolis shopping and entertainment center is the second investment project by Deka Immobilien GmbH in Lithuania. In spring 2007, the fund acquired a Vilnius shopping center - BIG Vilnius.

Re&Solution showed a high level of competence during the acquisition process of Akropolis as well as during the process of further maintenance of the center. Employees of Re&Solution have proved their expertise in process management and close collaboration with consultants and responsible representatives of the fund as well as with lessees of the shopping center.

"We highly appreciate the confidence Deka Immobilien has in us, thus we will gladly perform all our obligations with regard to this great shopping center. The total area of properties under our management in the Baltic States is almost half a million square meters; however, the exceptional activities of the Akropolis shopping center, its specific positioning in the market and the technological functioning of the building, will require all the knowledge and creative potential of the whole Re&Solution staff," said Sigitas Jautakis, Director of Re&Solution Property Management for the Baltic States.

"We are responsible for the lease process and finance management, technical and administrative maintenance of the shopping center, and formation and implementation of the marketing strategy. In other words, we will do everything to ensure that guests of Akropolis shopping and entertainment center always find the widest range of goods and entertainment services for competitive prices, and that operators successfully develop their businesses," sais Daiva Þvinytë, Head of the Retail Property Management of Re&Solution Property Management.
