Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest has launched Art in Motion, a public art exhibition in collaboration with Art Safari, the largest art exhibition organiser in Eastern Europe. Running from early June through 31 July 2025, the exhibition reimagines the hotel’s 500?m² public spaces as a platform for contemporary Romanian art, setting a new benchmark in experiential hospitality.
Featuring 13 emerging artists, Art in Motion spans sculpture, textile, and painting, with themes exploring memory, identity, and urban transience. The works are embedded seamlessly into the architecture, curated by C?lina Coman, who positioned the pieces to subtly disrupt guest routines while harmonising with the hotel's interior flow. “Guests come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Many are not actively seeking art, but they find it,” she noted.
For developers and investors, the initiative highlights a rising opportunity in cultural placemaking, integrating art not just as décor, but as value-add. Properties like Radisson Blu are using curated cultural programmes to drive longer dwell times, diversify guest profiles, and foster brand loyalty, ultimately raising asset prestige in competitive urban cores.
“This collaboration with Art Safari enhances our mission to deliver more than accommodation; it’s about offering cultural value and a sense of discovery,” said Atakan Turhan, General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest. “We are proud to facilitate this encounter with art to our hotel guests, as well as to any visitors who seek inspiration.”
The exhibition, free to visit, signals Bucharest’s growing reputation as a cultural capital and positions Radisson Blu as a key driver in shaping the city’s creative identity. With the hospitality sector competing for high-spending experience-led travellers, such initiatives can future-proof assets and create sustainable value.
