PWC: Housing market bound to collapse

A European study by PriceWaterhouseCoopers show that the Dutch housing market is bound to collapse within a few years.

Despite the continueing shortage in houses, families can no longer afford the high real estate prices. An ever increasing percentage of net income is going towards housing costs. Medium term this will undoubtedly lead to a drop in house prices.
