ProLogis leases three new facilities in Spain

ProLogis announced yesterday that it has leased a total of 52,381 m2 of distribution space to three local companies in the Barcelona area.

ChronoExpres, a logistics provider for the parcel and courier service industry, Salvador Escoda, a distributor of heating, air-conditioning and cooling systems, and Miguel Torres, S.A., a distributor for the wine and spirits industry, will occupy three of the five facilities in Prologis Park Sant Boi.

ProLogis Park Sant Boi serves as a strategic distribution hub located on the A-16 Highway and is in close proximity to the Port of Barcelona and the cityÂ's international airport. ChronoExpres is leasing an entire facility totaling 24,894 m2 and Salvador Escoda is taking 14,810 m2 of distribution space in a separate building. Miguel Torres, S.A. is leasing 12,677 m2 in a third facility.

ProLogis owns five facilities in the ProLogis Park Sant Boi totaling over 115,000 m2 of distribution space. The company also leases space in the park to Schneider Electric, Ahold Supermarkets and Hamann International.
