Berlin, Germany: A hotel operator with more than 4,900 rooms across Continental Europe's A-cities has just rebuilt its top table almost entirely from within. PRIMESTAR Group is expanding its Executive Leadership Team, upgrading two Management Board positions, realigning its Operations division and promoting from its own ranks, a structural shift the company frames under the guiding principle "Progress = Change" as it positions for further portfolio growth in Germany, Austria and Poland.
Anke Bogansky becomes Managing Director Finance and HR effective 1 October 2026, taking responsibility for the Group's finance and human resources functions. As CFO in recent months, she played a key role in driving AI-supported reporting at PRIMESTAR, work she will continue to advance in her expanded role. Martin Gotschewski, with PRIMESTAR since 2023, is appointed Prokurist and Head of Operations effective the same date, taking overall responsibility for both Operations and Technology under one unified leadership structure. Ronald Giese remains Managing Director Commercial, continuing to support all areas with a focus on ADR growth.
The appointment that deserves closest attention from investors and developers is Björn Wilkens, who joins as Managing Director Development and Asset Management effective 1 November 2026, arriving from real estate developer BECKEN. His mandate is explicit: development and closing of new projects, with a focus on expanding the Polish portfolio and growing the June brand. Bringing in an external developer specifically for expansion into Poland, rather than promoting internally as with the other two appointments, signals that PRIMESTAR sees genuine, near-term acquisition and development activity ahead in that market, a detail worth watching for anyone tracking hotel real estate demand across Central Europe.

Its June platform brings together June SIX urban boutique hotels, June Stay long-stay accommodation, WorX workspace solutions and June Lux into one ecosystem, currently spanning Berlin, Hanover, Lake Garda and Salzburg, with further European expansion planned.
