Panattoni has begun construction work on a new Built To Own (BTO) centre for the E.G.O.-Group (E.G.O.). The construction of the manufacturing plant is to start in July this year and the completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
“We offered E.G.O. a property in a superb location near its current operations base as well as its key business partners. At the same time, this is also a location with excellent options for commuting to work. The building will be tailored to E.G.O.’s manufacturing processes, and our teams are working closely together to develop the new plant to allow the company to grow quickly in Lodz. The site also has the space for a possible future expansion,” stated Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni.
The location, only 8km from the centre of Lodz, provides good communications, allowing the factory not only to use the road infrastructure but also to give it access to skilled labour. The centre can easily be reached both by car and public transport while only being 4km from the A1 motorway. Being close to its customer base, the location is unique from E.G.O.’s perspective. Furthermore, it would create possible business synergies within Lodz itself.
The BTO centre to be built for E.G.O. in Lodz is another development that exemplifies Panattoni’s long-term strategy, which is to supply the leading companies on the market with modern tailor-made manufacturing space.
