Panattoni Europe is to develop a manufacturing and warehousing project for a furniture business. The developer’s client is the Danish company Trio Line – one of Europe’s largest third-party furniture producers, specialising in making and assembling exclusive upholstery products. The facility to be built will total more than 32,200m² – including a manufacturing section of approx. 21,000m², warehouse space of 9,032m², and office space of nearly 2,200m². The investment will be developed near Poznań, and the anticipated completion date is Q1 2017. The transaction was mediated by AXI IMMO.

The choice of Greater Poland is no accident. Trio Line already has two manufacturing facilities in the region, and the new investment is to consolidate them and at the same time boost the company’s production capacity, including new jobs. ‘The decision to lease new warehouse and production space was associated with the need to consolidate our existing units and optimize the production process. Rapid development in recent years means that we are able to invest. This will allow us to offer even more advanced solutions and services to our customers’ – comments Mads Østergaard, Vice President of Supply-Chain Trio Line. That is why the facility will be located in Plewiska near Poznań, between the major road junctions of the A2 motorway and S11 expressway. En route between Berlin and Warsaw – near the “Poznań West” interchange and the “Komorniki” interchange – the location will make for fast product delivery to the reloading hubs in Poland and Germany. For Trio Line, it is a strategic location – the company delivers its products mainly to the German market and Western Europe.

Greater Poland is a prized location for Panattoni Europe. The developer has delivered as much as 586,000m² in the region, including the record-breaking investment for Amazon, and currently has 64,000m² of modern warehouse space under development at Panattoni Park Poznań V and Panattoni Park Poznań VI in such locations as Plewiska and Wysogotowo.
