Panattoni has begun the final construction stage of its City Logistics Krakow I, urban park in the city’s Nowa Huta district. A total of 11,300m2 is to be built with the park to expand to its final target size of 36,500m2.
In the final construction stage of City Logistics Krakow I, building A is to be extended. The completion of the work is scheduled for September this year and a tenant, who is to move in November, has already been found for half of the new space. The 36,500m2 park is now almost entirely commercialised with only c. 6,000m2 in the form of Small Business Units (SBUs) still available for lease. Space that can be flexibly arranged is equally suited to operations such as logistics, warehousing and light production.
“Our project is a response to the growing need for modern warehousing space in strategic urban locations. City Logistics Krakow I is a modern complex that is superbly suited to meet the needs of last mile logistics.” said Filip Noworol, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni, and he added: “The strength of our position in the Krakow market is clearly demonstrated by the launch of the final stage of this project and the high level of its commercialisation.”
City Logistics Krakow I is situated on the eastern side of Krakow just 11 km from the city centre near the Pleszow bus and tram hub. This gives the park easy access to workers and opens it up to the city’s entire transport infrastructure. Furthermore, since the complex is also near the S7 expressway – around three minutes from the Nowa Huta junction – as well as the A4 motorway, it also has great connections to all of Poland’s major cities.
The park includes loading docks, ground-level gates, a large manoeuvring area and also numerous parking spaces for both trucks and cars. The centre is certified under BREEAM, which is a confirmation of its energy efficiency and the effectiveness of the ecologically-friendly solutions applied. Moreover, a modern glazed façade, as well as a green area in front of the offices, add to the work comfort at the centre.
