Oranjewoud maintains high profit level

In more than one respect 2001 was an excellent year to Oranjewoud. As per January 1 a reorganisation was implemented to realize the three main strategic objectives: market orientation, productivity and employee satisfaction.

The former geographical organisation changed into a business unit (6) oriented organisation. Each business unit operates nationally and is supported by locally based knowledge centers.

The results have even outperformed the already excellent results of 2000, despite all the changes. Company revenues increased by 7% to EUR 195 million, noticeably in the area of general contracting and a slight increase in consultancy and engineering. Both operating result and net result increased by 7% to respectively EUR 10.3 mln and EUR 6.8 mln.
