NOVUM Hospitality and MERKUR Development Holding GmbH have started construction work on a third "niu" hotel, in the Fasanenhof district of Stuttgart. The property will feature 144 hotel rooms and 110 serviced apartments, with a total BGF (≈GEA) of around 10,500 m². Completion is scheduled for autumn 2019. The project volume is c. €30m.
The design of the new development is inspired by hunting lodges and castle hotels. The interior will feature lattice elements, feather motifs and the natural stone. In addition to an unusually designed public "open living" lobby, equipped with the latest technology, guests will have a chance to check in via the self-service app.
The hotel aims to cater to both tourists and business travellers. The property enjoys strong transport links to Stuttgart trade fair and the airport. It is also easily accessible by S-Bahn or A8 motorway.
The new "niu Mesh" is the third niu project in Stuttgart.
