Niels Fischer (43) joins the Management Board of Aareal Asset Management GmbH with effect from 1 September 2005. Fischer will assume the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO) in addition to Charles Pridgeon (39), Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As part of the realignment of Aareal Bank, the company will be spun off in
the medium-term as a subsidiary of the bank.
Fischer started his career at Herring Baker Harris plc in London after graduating in Business Management. Afterwards he was responsible for the formation and organisation of their German subsidiary and managed this company until 2000. Fischer then became member of the Managing Board at Deutsche Fonds für Immobilienvermögen GmbH (DEFO) and was responsible for the national and international Property Asset Management.
