Reed MIDEM announces that the second edition of MIPIM Horizons, the international property market dedicated to the world's fast-growing regions, will take place March 16-19, 2010, in Cannes, France, at the same time as MIPIM, the world's leading real estate market.
"Our feedback from the first MIPIM Horizons in 2008 was very positive and we are committed to developing the event. International investors welcomed the opportunity to meet exhibitors from the fast-growing regions such as Morocco, Egypt, Romania, Ukraine or Brazil and to discover new segments of the property market," says Thierry Renault, Reed MIDEM's Deputy Managing Director. "In the current economic climate, where companies are looking to make the most of their time at MIPIM and MIPIM Horizons, while also controlling their costs, it is a logical move to bring the two events together in 2010. This synergy will be beneficial for delegates of both MIPIM and MIPIM Horizons."
The first edition of MIPIM Horizons was held from December 2-4, 2008, and welcomed over 1,200 property professionals from 62 countries. MIPIM 2009 attracted 18,000 delegates from 80 countries.
