Metrovacesa SA said it has begun construction of a new commercial center in Gandia, Valencia, in collaboration with local property developer Coprusa.
In a statement, Metrovacesa said it will contribute 80 pct or 36 mln eur of the total 45 mln investment in the project.
The new center is expected to be opened in the spring of 2006.
