Lehman Brothers has announced the appointment of Gerald Parkes as the new Managing Director of its European real estate private equity division.
Parkes is currently the Chief Executive of Invesco Real Estate, and will formally join Lehman Brothers in September.
Lehman Brothers’ real estate private equity group, a banking fund with committed capital of $1.6bn, invests directly in property and real estate companies.
Commenting on the appointment, Joint Global Head of Real Estate Private Equity, Raymond Mikulich, said: “Gerald has a wealth of experience and contacts which will strengthen our standing as one of the pre-eminent real estate and investment franchises.”
