Luxembourg developers Karimpol are planning next spring to begin construction work on a new office block, Equator, which would be situated on al. Jerozolimskie near the Warszawa Główna railway station. The company has already received a building permit for the 18,000 m² project.
According to the firm - and co-agents for Equator, Jones Lang LaSalle and King Sturge - commencement of the work is dependent upon the pre-leasing of at least a third of the building. An additional factor influencing Karimpol's final decision would be the successful leasing of another office development, Passat. Sited next to their already completed Mistral building at al. Jerozolimskie 162, it is due to be finished in the third quarter of 2007. Cosmetic firm Selcos has already decided to lease 200 m² of space in Passat and medical corporation Luxmed will take 850 m².
