Jones Lang LaSalle and LaSalle Investment Management were recently honoured by receiving the 'IRES Corporate Excellence Award' for their outstanding achievements in international real estate research. The award was presented at International Real Estate Society´s (IRES) international board meeting, held in Captiva Island, Florida.
Dr. Elaine Worzala of the University of San Diego and Dr. Graeme Newell of the University of Western Sydney, Australia presented the award on behalf of IRES. IRES praised Jones Lang LaSalle and LaSalle Investment Management for their consistent leadership and support for both academic and industry research in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australasia. LaSalle Investment Management´s eight years sponsoring the best manuscript prize for an international real estate investment paper for the American Real Estate Society and Jones Lang LaSalle´s support of academic researchers globally were also cited.

Previous winners of the IRES Corporate Excellence Award include The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (2001) and Investment Property Databank (2003). This is the first time that an international real estate manager and service provider has won the award.
