Europe-wide active IVG Immobilien AG was presented with the award for the best annual report of listed European real-estate companies that was conferred by European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) for the first time. Swiss Prime Site and London-based British Land Company came second and third. IVG was awarded the prize on the occasion of the third EPRA annual conference in Rome.
EPRA, the association of listed European real-estate companies, appraised 75 European annual reports. A jury, consisting of renowned European finance analysts, investors, accountants, and economists of Cambridge University (UK) assessed the transparency towards investors as well as the compliance with the Best Practices Recommendations for the accounting of listed real-estate companies in Europe. IVG was praised by the jury for the transparency in the fields of accounting and evaluation.
