ING sells Delftse Poort office building (Rotterdam) to real estate funds (NL)

ING announced the sale of the Delftse Poort office building in Rotterdam to KanAm, a German real estate investment fund, and the ING Dutch Office Fund. Each fund now owns 50% of the building. The sale will reduce expenses for ING. The transaction will not affect ING employees who work in the building. ING has signed a lease agreement with the new owners for a period of at least ten years.

The office building Delftse Poort, on the corner of Weena and Stationsplein opposite Central Station in Rotterdam, has a floor space of approximately 66,000 m² in two towers, one of which is 150 metres high and the other 93 metres. The building is known as the highest office building in the Netherlands. Delftse Poort, designed by Bonnema Architects, was completed in 1991.
