ING Real Estate announced today that Scott Dwyer (44) has been appointed General Manager responsible for its development business in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Romania. He will also be a member of the European management team and will be based in the Netherlands and Poland. He will take up the position in the beginning of 2009.

Mr Dwyer joins ING Real Estate from Unibail-Rodamco, where he spent six years initially as Country Manager Poland and more recently as Managing Director Central Europe. He was responsible for setting up the Central European operational hub for eight countries achieving substantial portfolio growth. Prior to that Mr Dwyer was Finance Director of TRILDM Development in Poland and European Director for Greater Union International in Germany.
