Imtech N.V. has won an order worth more than 10 million Euro to supply a full range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services, including a multi-year maintenance contract, for the new Las Mercedes Business Park in Madrid, Spain. NEXITY, one of Franceââ¬â¢s largest real estate companies, awarded the contract to Imtech Novocalor, part of Imtech España.
The collaboration between Imtech Novocalor (acquired 2001) and Imtech Intesa has made Imtech one of the largest technical service providers in Spain. Since then Imtechââ¬â¢s responsiveness has increased considerably. This has resulted in the Imtech group acquiring large projects and a good reputation. Imtechââ¬â¢s activities in Spain include its core competence of mechanical engineering for non-residential and industrial buildings. The hallmarks of Imtech are its combination of full-service mechanical engineering and building management, complete with contract and project management.
Las Mercedes Business Park comprises approximately 100,000 m2 aboveground offices and almost 50,000 m2 underground space for parking, storage and technical facilities. The park is the largest real estate project in Spain under construction. With nine buildings in total, the project will be completed towards the end of 2004.
