IIG starts construction of production facility in Vyskov, Czech Republic (CZ/BE)

Immo Industry Group (IIG) has started construction of a production facility for the Netherlands based plastics manufacturer Rompa Kunststofprodukten B.V. in Vyskov, Czech Republic. Rompa assigned IIG with the project mainly because of the developer's engineering expertise and track record.

Rompa is a global and full service supplier of plastic products to many multinational companies as well as local clients. It develops and produces a wide range of technical parts, trays, displays, luxury cases, holders and packaging products through injection moulding and thermo forming. Rompa decided to build a new production facility close to its current Vyskov site and IIG succeeded in finding the ideal location for the project: a 28,900-m² plot on which IIG's engineers planned for a 10,800-m² production facility that will produce automotive, technical and packaging parts as well as assemblies for a wide range of markets and clients. The project entailed some very stringent technical requirements. It included two overhead cranes, the largest one capable of moving 5 tons moulds over a distance of 28 m. IIG's development team adapted the facility's floor accordingly, to withstand a pressure of 10 ton/m². Other requirements IIG's engineers catered for included a special ventilation system. IIG's local team negotiated extensively with the local authorities to secure a timely delivery of all the required permits.

The Czech Director of Rompa CZ, Arno Morssinkhof, has full confidence that IIG will realize Rompa's new factory in time and according to the latest standards of technology. "The new facility will enable Rompa CZ
