ICSC’s European Advisory Board welcomes two new members (EU)

The International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) European Nominations Committee has appointed Joris de van der Schueren, Fund Director & Head of International Retail Clients, Redevco B.V, to the newly created role of Chairman of Event Content,and Maksym Gavryushyn, Commercial Director at the Bud House Group (BHG) Ukraine, has been appointed Chair of ICSC’s Ukraine National Committee. Joris de van der Schueren and Maksym Gavryushyn have also joined ICSC’s European Advisory Board chaired by Alexander Otto, CEO of ECE.
Joris de van der Schueren joined Redevco B.V in 2006 where he held several positions including Senior Manager Research & Concepts, Country Head of China, Country Head of India and Head of International Clients.
Maksym Gavryushyn succeeds Mr Philippe Beurtheret, Director at Immochan Ukraine, as Chair of ICSC’s Ukraine National Committee as Phillipe has relocated to lead Immochan’s operations in Hungary. Maksym held the position of Head of Research and Marketing at the Ukrainian Trade Guild (UTG) in 2004 before serving as Head of the Strategic Consulting Department and joining the Bud House Group as Commercial Director in 2009.

Marcus Wild, Chair of the Nominations Committee, Past-Chair of the European Advisory Board and ICSC Trustee said ” Maksym and Joris are important representatives of the real estate industry and they are taking over higher responsibilities in their new roles within ICSC. I would like to congratulate both of them for being nominated and thank them and their predecessors for their personal commitment.”
