ICSC is delighted to announce that The Turkish Shopping Centre and Retailer Federation (TAMPF) and the Swiss Council of Shopping Centres have signed membership agreements with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). ICSC’s European membership stands at an all-time high of 6,300 members, giving members an ever stronger and united voice in Europe.
ICSC Europe, which has tripled its membership in the last 18 months, is particularly pleased to welcome the newly formed Turkish Shopping Centre and Retailer Federation ahead of the ICSC European Conference which is being held in Istanbul 2-4 April 2014. The Federation was formed earlier this year from the merger of the former Turkish Council of Shopping Centres with five other organizations to truly represent the Turkish retail real estate industry.
Chair of the Turkish Shopping Centre and Retailer Federation Vahap Küçük, said: “Turkey has over 350 shopping centers, including over 100 in Istanbul, serving a population of over 14 million people. We are very pleased to become members of ICSC and proud to welcome the 2014 ICSC European Conference.”
