The second annual HOTCO Hotel Investment Conference, dedicated to the key issues of ‘Creativity, Disruption and Innovation' in the hospitality sector, will open its doors in Budapest on January, 29th.
The event, which is organized by Horwath HTL, the global leader in hospitality consulting, is designed to service the Central and Eastern European markets. The conference has proven to be a key event for hotel owners, investors, operators and suppliers, with last year’s event attracting over 300 attendees from 32 countries, 45% of whom were senior management and owners from the investment community.
This year’s event looks to build on that success and will feature a program that will focus on the discussion of the key issues facing the industry and specific challenges facing hotel development in the CEE region. The event will be held at the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus.
Marius Gomola, founder of the event and Managing Director of Horwath HTL, Hungary, said: “The success of last year’s event showed that the market in the CEE has been underserved and presents tremendous opportunities. We long suspected that investors searching for yields that would be unrealistic in established markets would turn to the region as recovery began to pick up. We are sure that this year’s event will establish CEE as a key growing market.”
