H&M will open its new store in Galeria Młociny, a modern retail and entertainment complex situated in one of the prime locations in Warsaw – in the Bielany district of Warsaw, next to the Młociny transport hub which includes a metro station. The Swedish fashion brand will open a store of almost 3,000m2.
“Attracting global fashion brands is one of our top priorities for creating an exciting tenant mix at Galeria Młociny. We are expanding the fashion segment of our centre and surprising customers with new brands. We want to be a fashion destination for the entire catchment area and we are happy to announce we have signed a lease agreement with H&M. We are building a strong and diversified fashion offer and are currently negotiating with other leading chains,” said Michał Masztakowski, Development & Leasing Director at Master Management Group. So far the list of the largest tenants – those occupying units over 1,000m2 includes: CINEMA3D (approx. 4,000m2), Calypso Fitness Club (approx. 2,000m2), Delikatesy Alma (approx. 2,000m2), and RTV EURO AGD (approx. 1,000m2).
One of the Prime Retail Locations in Warsaw
Galeria Młociny is situated next to the Młociny transport hub which includes a metro station. It is the main public transport hub for residents of the northern part of the city and surrounding areas, every day attracting around 40,000 people from Bielany, Żoliborz, Bemowo, Łomianki and Białołęka. The Młociny transport hub incorporates 22 bus routes, 4 tram routes, a metro station, a Polskibus.com station, bus links to the Warsaw/Modlin airport and a P+R parking lot for over 1,000 vehicles. Galeria Młociny will be built on a 5-hectare plot (50,000m2) located between Zgrupowania AK “Kampinos” street and the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge Route. Near the complex there is also a road junction connecting Warsaw city centre, Chomiczówka and the suburbs of Łomianki with Tarchomin and Białołęka. The number of new housing developments in the northern part of Warsaw also means that the number of people living in the catchment area is growing steadily.
Convenient and Attractive Shopping and Entertainment Destination
Due to its excellent location, outstanding tenant mix and leisure facilities, Galeria Młociny will be a convenient and attractive shopping destination. It will be a meeting place for commuters and people living in the surrounding areas as well as along the M1 metro line, who will be able to get everyday tasks done on their way to and from work. The planned total area of the complex is 220,000m2 (approx. 70,000m2 GLA). It will offer stores of well-known brands (approx. 220 retail units), a 9-screen CINEMA3D, a Calypso Fitness Club, over a dozen restaurants and cafes and the first Delikatesy Alma in this part of Warsaw. Fashion retailers who have already signed with Galeria Młociny include Inditex brands Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho as well as Zara Home which offers interior design. There will also be a VAN GRAAF store. The complex will provide 2,000 parking spaces.
Outstanding Architectural Design
Galeria Młociny is also an outstanding architectural concept developed by two prestigious architectural studios – Autorska Pracownia Architektury Kuryłowicz & Associates and Chapman Taylor. Visually, it will be one of the most attractive sites in the northern part of Warsaw. The project is in line with sustainable development rules in accordance with the BREEAM certification. The 2-story complex with 4 retail levels was designed in harmony with its advantageous location. As a result, a leisure space with a view of the Młociny Woods and accessible to everyone will be created. In the summer, it will be a place to relax in the open-air food court or to participate in sports (offering a sports field and running tracks). While in the winter, it will house the first rooftop ice rink in Warsaw.
