The international hotel group Hilton Group concluded a franchise partnership with the local company Izvoare Resort for the opening of the first resort in Romania under one of the Hilton brands. DoubleTree Maramures Izvoare Resort will be opened in Izvoare resort, near Baia Mare, Maramures county, and the inauguration is scheduled for 2029.
The hotel will have 141 rooms, three restaurants, an area intended for meetings and social events with a capacity of up to 600 people, ski facilities and a mountain treatment centre.

We want to develop a perfect space for private parties, corporate events, team buildings and other events that can be organized in an intimate, chic setting, made with passion and attention to detail, in the middle of nature, innovating for the future through contemporary," said Flaviu Teofil Lese, director and co-owner of Izvoare Resort SRL
The winsed.swiss group facilitated the signing of the franchise contract between the two parties. Also, the management of the hotel will be taken over by winsed.swiss after the opening of the unit.
