Hilton announces first hotel in Mannheim (DE)

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with Ariva Hotel to open a new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Mannheim Business District. The hotel joins more than 100 Hilton Garden Inn properties trading or under development in Europe, and five in Germany.

 

Patrick Fitzgibbon, Senior Vice President, development, EMEA, Hilton said: “As a growing business location with a vibrant local economy, the hotel will help to support an increasing demand for high quality accommodation in Mannheim. As we enter another new city in Germany, this signing emphases Hilton’s continued growth here, in particular through our focused service brands.”

 

The 197-guestroom Hilton Garden Inn Mannheim will be an integral part of a new mixed-use property development which also contains office and residential spaces. The building’s project developer and owner is Diringer & Scheidel, the family-run company group and also proprietor of Ariva Hotel. The hotel has ample meeting space for business guests with eight meeting rooms, a business centre and fitness centre to help keep fit on the road. The hotel will also include a restaurant with cooked-to-order breakfast and dinner along with a bar and garden terrace to relax after a busy day. Located at the main train station, the hotel has excellent transport links as well as an underground car park.
