Henderson Global Investors has announced that it is combining its retail UK and Continental European equity teams to create a single Pan European fund management team. This team will be under the overall responsibility of Stephen Peak, one of Henderson’s most senior fund managers.
Neil Hermon will lead the Pan European small cap part of the team and will now report to Mr Peak as will Mileen Rash, who will take over as the fund manager on the UK Capital Growth OEIC, following the resignation of Richard Prew.
Stephen Peak, Mileen Rash and Neil Hermon will also run the Henderson UK Equity Long Short fund.
Announcing the appointments Henderson head of equities Andrew Formica said “We wanted to improve our retail pan European fund management by combining Stephen Peak’s unrivalled investment experience, portfolio structure and investment ideas with Neil Hermon’s enviable track record in small and mid cap stock selection.”
