Goodman Group, a leading global developer of logistics space, today completed its second warehouse at the Pomeranian Logistics Centre increasing capacity to 88,000 m² reflecting strong customer demand.

The second warehouse building at Pomeranian Logistics Centre, with a total area of 36,700 m², allows customers from the logistics industry to take advantage of the exceptional location next to Gdansk’s deepwater container terminal and key road connections. The centre has been 95% pre-leased by six third party logistics companies, including the recent signing of Omega Pilzno. 3,500 m² of high-quality space is still available for immediate lease.

Omega Pilzno, a logistics operator, has offered its customers intermodal transport services for years via its maritime logistics unit in Gdynia,” Omega Pilzno deputy CEO Adam Godawski said. “The location of the warehouse near the port and the DCT terminal will complement our comprehensive offer of logistics services. It will also allow for fast and efficient customs clearance."

The port of Gdansk has experienced strong growth, with freight volumes doubling in the last ten years. Goodman is responding to this continued customer demand by preparing to build the third warehouse at PLC. All necessary approvals for the 36,000 m² have been obtained.

Goodman has delivered over one million m² of space to customers in Poland and the Pomeranian Logistics Centre in Gdańsk is Goodman’s flagship project in the country. When completed, it will be the largest logistics centre in the country, offering up to 500,000 m² of warehouse and manufacturing space with integrated offices. PLC offers easy access to the deepwater container terminal and excellent road connections enabling tenants to take advantage of “port-centric logistics” at the site. Trasa Sucharskiego and the Gdańsk southern bypass link the city centre with the A1 motorway toward southern Poland, the S7 express route to Warsaw and the S6 to Szczecin and on to Germany. Lech Wałęsa Gdańsk Airport, Poland’s third-largest airport, serving international and domestic routes, is located just 23 km from Pomeranian Logistics Centre.
