Goodman completes Leicester Commercial Park in the East Midlands (GB)

Goodman has completed Leicester Commercial Park - a new 40-acre logistics and warehouse development located in the heart of the East Midlands. The scheme comprises two units of 95,000ft² and 335,000ft² of prime commercial and warehouse space developed to the BREEAM ‘Very Good’ specification together with having an EPC ‘A’ rating. Both units are the latest developments to be delivered through the Goodman UK Partnership (GUKP), the investment vehicle for all UK logistics assets developed and sourced by Goodman.

Speaking about the development, Goodman Development Director Nigel Dolan, said: “Leicester Commercial Park offers high quality, Grade A space in an unrivalled location, directly on the junction of the M69/M1. With strong market demand, the development is ideally placed to serve the needs of our customers and will provide much needed new logistics space in the East Midlands”.

Henry Henson from the joint development partner, Wilson Bowden, added: “We are happy to once again be partnering with Goodman to bring Leicester Commercial Park to market with the availability of two new facilities in a truly stand-out location. Demand for high-quality logistics and warehouse accommodation throughout the East Midlands continues to outstrip supply and these units will provide a strategic base for customers who want to benefit from being at the heart of the UK, with excellent access to the national motorway network”.
