Galeries Lafayette rents space in French project of Foruminvest (FR)

Galeries Lafayette will open its first new department store in France since 30 years in the Rue de Béthune in Lille. The new department store will have a surface of 15,000 m² and is situated in the shopping center that will be developed by Foruminvest France in the pedestrian area of Lille.

The total project will have a surface of 22,000 m² and is divided over four floors of 5,500 m² each and will have an underground parking garage with 600 parking spaces. Besides Galeries Lafayette, also Adidas has rented a pilot store of 1,250 m². The opening is expected in September 2007.
