Emerging Europe Properties Fund & Discovery Group have sold Nakupní Park Centro Ostrava to newly established Focus Estate Fund.
The subject of the sale is a fully leased and stabilized retail park in Ostrava. Operating since 2011, it has been offering 7,700m² of retail space. It includes key long-term tenants such as Mountfield, JYSK, Okay Electric, Breno, Jitona, Kasa, Super Zoo, and Rossmann.
“It is our second transaction in the Emerging Europe retail real estate in the past two quarters: in June this year, we acquired a shopping centre in Poland. In the coming two years we plan to expand our assets under management up to €50m”, - said Maxim Shkolnick, Partner at Focus Estate Fund.
Nakupní Park Centro Ostrava is located in Ostrava, the third largest city in the Czech Republic, occupies a strategic position adjoining an established Tesco hypermarket and gallery. It has an additional territory which secured planning permission to provide up to an additional 3,000m² of retail space.
