In late October this year, the retail area of the Sarni Stok shopping center, owned by Ahold Central Europe and managed by Donaldsons Polska, will be enlarged by app. 5,000 m² from the current 29,000 m². As part of the project, some renowned national and foreign chain brands, mainly in the fashion and multimedia categories, will be added to the centre's retail offer.
Once the commercialization of the retail area has been completed, the Sarni Stok shopping center will become the biggest shopping center in the region. It is the outcome of the cooperation between the investor Ahold Central Europe and the managing company Donaldsons Polska and their joint success.
The opening of a new retail area of 5,000 m² is planned for late October this year. Ten new shops of the leading Polish and international brands will be opened there. The following brands will complement the retail offer of the center: Smyk, Empik, Cropp Town, Bata, Reporter, Monnari, Vertus, Pro Moda, Ritz Collection and YES. As far as the current tenants are concerned, Galeria Centrum will double its retail area reaching 2,000 m², and Reserved will relocate to a new shop with an area of 1,300 m² in the new retail part as a result, its commercial area will triple. All in all, the Sarni Stok shopping center will benefit from a well-balanced offer of international and nationwide chain retailers, including the existing brands without any other locations on the local market in Bielsko-Biała, such as Carrefour the Sarni Stok anchor tenant and new hypermarket operator since March 2005, Media Markt, Galeria Centrum and Smyk to be opened. After the completion of the current stage of commercialization, almost 100% of the Sarni Stok shopping center area will be occupied.
