The Municipality of Rotterdam invited young architects to present their vision and designs for new municipal offices, which are to be built directly behind the Town Hall. As well as office space for the municipal services and counters for the public, the municipal offices will have space for shops, businesses, catering industry and housing.
The twenty-five nominated proposals selected from over a hundred entries can be seen in the library. Alderman Hans Kombrink opened the exhibition of the entries for the Rotterdam municipal offices ideas competition in the Central Library on Hoogstraat in Rotterdam on Monday 7 January.
