The biggest outlet event that gathers all the major outlet players

Why attending the latest Magdus Pan-European Outlet event is crucial!

First, this conference has historically been the only Pan-European event dedicated to the outlet sector and has long been the biggest in the sector!

Of course, a professional event is the opportunity to showcase a project, a product, or a service. It is the opportunity to meet new contacts and see also old friends (like Chris and I) in the very friendly atmosphere where you can easily interact. There are usually around 150 to 200 delegates.

However, in today’s landscape, the key question is why the outlet sector outperforms other retail sectors. Surely, there is no better time to hear, learn and understand from the major players in the industry.

This year’s event is happening on April 1st & 2nd in Paris. Spring is definitely the best season to discover or re-discover the blooming city of love, fashion and retail and to visit the McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny Outlet village!

It is a unique chance to learn the facts, figures and trends regarding a vibrant but still discreet industry. Indeed, the outlet market is a niche market, that is why both industry experts and studies are very rare!

The rich programme of keynote speakers and roundtable discussions at this year’s Magdus event will give voice to outlet leaders from all over the world: Europe, USA, Brazil. For example, Richard Ching, Partner at Cushman & Wakefield, will give us an in-depth overview of international outlet markets and focus on the European Outlet industry. Despite our own involvement in the sector, Chris and I are still looking forward to learning more about the markets and what is driving them today!

One last, but important point! Is the Magdus event worth the time and money you spend on it? It is the 10th edition of the Magdus event and former editions received a very high rating in our post-event satisfaction surveys and the "icing on the cake" is that the fees have not increased since the very first edition and retailers are still invited for free!
